Here are a few photographs of what kept me company as I had my coffee this morning. I love spring, with the explosion of jasmine and the Monarch butterfly migration. I hope to capture some better shots of the butterflies in the days to come.
Oh I’m envious.. First so much greenery..Here in FL. unless it’s a palm tree or cactus they wither and die.and the Cardinal is a darling.. My favorite bird (I’m from Virginia, that’s our state bird)
Enjoy your gardens:-)
Not even tropical plants like hibiscus? That’s very sad. The cardinal is my favorite back yard bird, too. I bet you’ve got a few of my other favorite bird: the pelican.
Oh yes I forgot about the Hibiscus and Birds of Paradise ..Ahh, pelicans are so cute..we have these Egrets that stroll around our neighborhood.next time I see one I’ll snap a pic for you..
What a great little spot. The fountain is perfect in a lush surrounding. – I can just imagine the sound…the birds must enjoy it too ( even the metal one – he’s bound to be happy there)
Hi, Are those little white flowers jasmine? Very pretty. Since I also live in Texas, maybe I could have some of them. Have a great day.

They are star jasmine. They’re all over my fence, and each spring they explode into blossoms. I bet you could have them, too. They are very hardy.
